January Update
Join the Lutheran Camping Corporation (LCC) at one of the upcoming Master Site Plan Listening Meetings. These gatherings are an opportunity for the LCC to share preliminary planning work, gather valuable feedback, and hear your ideas and suggestions for the future. Your input is essential to shaping Kirchenwald & Nawakwa.
Listening Meeting Dates:
- January 26, 2pm, at Tree of Life Lutheran Church in Harrisburg
- February 2, 2pm, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lititz
- February 16, 2pm, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, York
- February 23, 2pm, at Christ Lutheran Church in Gettysburg
December Update
Dear Friends of LCC,
We are beginning the process of updating the master site plans for Kirchenwald and Nawakwa to help discern where God is calling us as we intentionally plan for our shared life and work at the camps. This process builds on our long and rich history and is essential to ensuring we are faithful stewards of God’s abundant resources.
The focus of the updated master site plans will be on the camps, their facilities, and their features. This effort will draw upon the recently completed strategic plan as well as input from our camp users, retreat leaders, camper families, donors, board of directors, and LCC staff. Once completed, the master site plans will outline the existing facilities at the camps and, more importantly, cast a vision for the future, detailing the camp facilities and features needed to support and accomplish future ministry endeavors.
Gathering input from our wide and diverse community is a vital step in this process. As a member of the LCC family, your voice is crucial to the success of this effort!
