Kirchenwald is located on 340 acres of undeveloped timberland, adjacent to 4,000 acres of State Game Lands, in Colebrook, PA. The camp focuses on adventure trip camps and growth through challenge. Campers travel to the Adirondack Mountains, the beaches of Assateague Island, Maryland or enjoy the climbing tower, climbing wall, ropes course, lake, and sports activities at the camp.

Since 1969, Kirchenwald has provided children a unique (in every sense of the word) place to grow and mature. Well trained counselors guide campers through a week of Bible Study, worship, nature activities, games and challenging events designed to help children have fun while:
- Growing in their faith
- Making new friends
- Gaining confidence in themselves
- Identifying their role as Christians in our world
- Camp gives kids a world of good!
Campers participate in age appropriate activities designed to stimulate and challenge them physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually.

Kirchenwald is accredited by the American Camp Association
ACA accreditation means that Kirchenwald complies with research-based standards in camp operation – including staff qualifications and training, water safety procedures, food services, health care, operational practices and emergency management.
ACA’s nationally-recognized standards program focuses primarily on the program quality, health and safety aspects of a camp’s operation. Accreditation indicates total commitment to health and safety and the highest quality experience for its campers and staff.
